Hi there,
In my last newsletter, in quote, I said “I’m back 😅”. And then I went two weeks off. I apologize for this. I’m still trying to figure a lot of things out, and life’s just happening. But, I’ll still do my best.
September came at a rush, init? Well, it’s still another week to be great.
I trust that you had a great week last week.
Here’s what I have for you today:
What I did last week 😇
  1. September 3rd made it a year working at ThisDot. I’ve really enjoyed working here and in this video—What I’ve learned working as a full-time Software Engineer for 1 year—I share 4 tips I’ve learned working here:
  2. I started the draft of an article that will be released this week.
Featured Articles ✍️
Featured Tools 🛠
  1. ismobilejs: an NPM library to detect mobile devices in the browser and NodeJS. A good use case is redirecting users to a different site like m.website.com to have mobile-specific content.
Useful hacks/tips ✨
  1. You can blackout specific elements when running Cypress tests snapshots. Here’s the docs: Cypress.Screenshot | Cypress Documentation. This way, that particular element will have an overlay of black in the snapshot.
As a content creator, I love simplifying diverse topics in web development that I understand. Do you have any topics, tools, or frameworks that you’d like to understand better? Do let me know, and I may be able to come up with an article or video on it.
A new week, another opportunity to do amazing things! So go do amazing things 🚀.
Do have a splendid week 🌟
