Learn how to quickly git checkout/merge/rebase your previous branch without typing the branch’s name

Hi there, how’s your week going? I wanted writing this late last night, but I promised myself I’d finish an article I was working on yesterday. I completed it at midnight, and that’s why this newsletter is coming today. I’m sorry.
In case you missed it, here’s a playlist I’m working on: Relocating from Nigeria to the Netherlands. In this playlist, I’ll be sharing different videos showing the process of my relocation. So far, I’ve shared how I got the relocation job. And, I’m currently working on the whole visa process video.
Kindly like the video, share and subscribe if you find them helpful.
What I did last week(s) 😇
  1. I published How to quickly git checkout/merge/rebase your previous branch on YouTube. In it, I share an easy git shortcut for checking out the previous branch you were on, before the current one.
  2. Last night, I published Difference between Subject and BehaviorSubject in Angular. This was something I struggled with yesterday while working on an Angular application. After much research, things made sense and I decided to share.
  3. After getting an apartment and settling down, I started working on my home workspace. It’s pretty decent now (with few cables dangling here and there 🥲)
That’s all for this week. I wish you a great week.
Remember to check out for jobs ranging from remote to relocation to junior to senior and different types of roles.
